Sospensioni dwells on a common stance of humanity at this beginning of the century, a wait which isn’t passive but conscious, almost a preparatory stance to the elaboration of new points of view, of possible and hopeful redefinitions of the categories of perception, of vision, of judgement. In order to overcome conflicts, barriers and borders, art invites us to adopt a disposition of Calvinian lightness which is not superficial but well architected, virtuous, heuristic.
Perfectly attuned to the music, contemporary art punctuates the human condition with its airy, suspended rhythm – halfway between the real and the virtual, between the present and the past, between the audacious and the everyday.
