THE SHOW
The show, a cycle of seven operas, occupies two spaces of the Casoli gallery, a former studio of Lucio Fontana: upstairs Alfredo Pirri has exhibited his rubber faces with cover, illuminated by the light of candles.
THE ARTWORKS
White latex masks (which reproduce the cast of the artist’s face) holding an open book, also white on the outside, while inside is painted with fluorescent color that is reflected on the white mask. These sculptures are illuminated with candles whose flames give movement to color, light and shade. In the underground space, two sculptures in wood, Sipario and Arlecchino (Harlequin), where a mask made of wood and plaster rests his nose on a piece of wood painted white.
